I posted a similar MS offer a year ago. This one is only for Pro ---which makes Scott happy. :)

It is still the Upgrade version, but if you don't have or want to waste a license that shouldn't bother anyone. :D [also]

I remember buying a new CD of Windows XP Professional for cheap as a college student back in 2002. Unfortuantely, I'm not a college student right now. *sigh*

Starting Oct. 3, 2010, Microsoft will once again offer for a limited time 3-license "family" packs of its Win7 Home Premium for $149. These are upgrade versions requiring XP or Vista present and you destroy your XP or Vista license when you upgrade...though there are ways around this.

Supposedly opening this up for select foreign markets as well on Oct. 22.
